My research involves the application of human social norms such as trust, regret and forgiveness in computational environments. I am working on aspects of trustworthiness of Artificial Intelligence as well as computational technology as a whole. I am also examining the concept of Hope and how it can be encouraged in the online and offline computationally empowered world. Finally, I am exploring justice and retribution (or the problems thereof) and how restorative justice applied to computational technologies and human interaction with them can work.

In the past I have worked on Multi-Agent systems, Device Comfort, Computational Trust, Critical Infrastructures and Social networks. I still do some of these occasionally!
